Planet Cheese is the result of the first module of Blender Classes from Escola Revolution (http://escolarevolution.com.br/).
This first module uses the theme of planets and space to introduce a lot of Blender and 3d art concepts. I learned a lot about UV Mapping, composing, and lightning.
The module tasks were divided between styles. Besides the cartoonish style of Planet Cheese, we worked on a few other styles. A more realistic (The Death Star), ultra-realistic (Earth and Moon), and abstract concept (Golden Lines).
It could look strange, but what I've learned from these different styles directly or indirectly influenced Planet Cheese's cartoon artwork. As a starter the background. The background was presented in the Realistic planets classes. I practically used the same shaders but more colorful and vibrant than the realistic background shown in the class. The ultra-realistic class sparked the idea of using displacement and I just pushed it to the limits by creating a hedgehog-look-a-like planet (IDK why but with Yoshi's colors). And I used the idea to use the set Position node on Geometry Nodes to distribute the little satellites that were learned in the abstract classes.
I am thankful for all the classes from Ivan Stephan and all the help from the monitors: Anderson Almeida and Mi Moraes.

The Astronaut was based on the work of Catalyst (https://www.instagram.com/catalystvibes/).

A "realistic approach" of the Death Star. The composition was based on the work of Alex Pi (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/GawZr3) and the Death Star UV texture I found on a YouTube video from CGSheep.
